Precious Beginning Childcare believe that each child is born with their own unique set of skills and gifts and that it is our responsibility as parent, caregivers and educators to discover these and encourage them on a daily basis. PBC is designed to include both planned and spontaneous activities in response to children interest. Experiences with music, movement, art, language and building are incorporated into daily plans. Regularly scheduled snacks and meals, rest time, indoor and outdoor play and routines in physical care giving promotes the child’s health, comfort and ability to care for him/herself. There is maximum flexibility for the children as a group and as individuals.
ENROLLMENT INFORMATION
Infants
The infant program serves children six (6) weeks of age to eighteen (18) months of
age. The program is designed to promote feelings of belonging and loving care which helps infants to grow and develop to their full potential. Children eat, sleep and play according to his/her own schedule. Every infant is an individual with unique abilities, desires and emotions.
Toddlers
Our Toddler program serves children from 18 months to 36 months of age. The classroom is designed to provide stimulating experiences for the children where they can learn through their own inquisitiveness. The emphasis during the toddler years is building on self-confidence and fostering the natural curiosity that toddlers possess.
Preschoolers
Our preschool program serves children from age three (3) through five (5) years
of age. Our preschool program prepares children socially and academically. We support and encourage
the development of independence, responsibility and confidence, all of which are essential for the child’s ongoing success in kindergarten.
